These writings are historical -- and sometimes perhaps
hysterical as well. While they represent points of view,
perspectives, and orientations to the world that are, in
some cases, quite different from what I hold today, they
are still relevant. Perhaps, to many, even more so than
they were in the 90s. They were visionary for their time
but also evangelical. They were written at a time when I
was going through my 'green' phase, a time when I wanted to
influence others to change, a time when I was worried about
the future of the planet and all of us on it, a time when I
felt a deep sense of urgency.
While I still may want to influence others, I am not longer
worried about our future nor do I feel the kind of urgency
I felt in the 1990s. While I still hold a systems or global
perspective, it's now more connected to allowing my life
rather than influencing others, to creating with the
Universe rather than changing the world, new understandings
about time and timing and the differences in my experience
with each.
